The Master invited his good friends Bill and Penrose Halson to bring the Player's Theatre to the RAF Club to put on a traditional music hall show for Guild members and their Guests. So it was that the tail-suited, wait-coated, gavel weilding Chairman introduced the artistes, ranging from musicians and singers to comedians and magicians, who entertained us all (including some who were brought up to the "stage"!). The RAF provided a hearty and delicious supper, after which 2 lucky ladies on each table won a flower arrangement that Penrose had artistically created for the occasion.
