Joining Ceremony

Successful applicants are invited to participate in the Joining and Welcoming Ceremony, which takes place at Tallow Chandlers' Hall during a Court Meeting.

The Ceremony consists of the formal presentation and welcome of new members to the Master, Wardens and Court of Assistants and includes the Ceremony of the Loving Cup, conducted by the Master. Members are then invited to sign the Roll of the Guild and receive their Warrants of Membership.

After the Ceremony the Court will join new members, and their guests, for some refreshments.

New members may apply to attend events from receipt of confirmation of membership, and need not wait until attending the Joining Ceremony.
