For his first Livery Hall dinner, the Master chose Tallow Chandlers' Hall, one of the best preserved Halls in London and home of the Guild of Freemen .After the Court meeting on 11th April, at which 15 new members joined The Guild and 4 were welcomed at the joining ceremony, we filled Tallow Chandlers' Hall as the Master asked his guest, Sheldon Shapiro, to present a selection of the Guild's Treasures to us. We started the evening with a sparkling reception and a delicious meal (thanks Life's Kitchen) after which Sheldon presented a potted "History of the Guild in 30 items", which had been drawn from the generous gifts made over our 110 year history.
