The Master, having a passion for all thing motoring, took 50 Guild members and their guests to the RAC club in Pall Mall for his Master's Lunch in the sumptuous Committee Room. After a champagne reception we enjoyed a superb three course lunch with fine wines. The Master welcomed his guest, David Wheeler, Senior Conservator of Furniture and Decorative Arts at the Royal Collection Trust, and invited him to give a glimpse into the work that goes into conserving the exquisite decorative arts belonging to one of the world's most important art collections.  We sat spellbound as David took us through the myriad of collections and the restoration and conservation of a few very special pieces.  There were plenty of questions for David and all too soon it was after 3 o'clock and time to go. A wonderful afternoon made possible by the Master and his wide circle of friends. Photos of the event can be found here
