The Master was delighted that the Dean of St Paul's The Very Revd Dr David Ison conducted the Guild's Annual Service at St Lawrence Jewry next Guildhall.  For the first time the wonderful choir of King Edward's School Witley sang from the altar, giving everyone the opportunity to see as well as hear the anthems which were sung with such passion.  The Master invited the choir along with the Headmaster and the Director of Music to the reception which followed where he presented a cheque to the school.  Photos of the event can be found here

""The Guild was formed in 1908 for all fellow Freemen of the City of London – today we number almost 1,600 members from all backgrounds, and from a wide range of professions. In addition, our Annual Programme is the City’s most extensive. It features events with privileged access for Members and their guests, ranging from opportunities to dine in London’s finest Livery Halls, to less formal activities. Our Annual Banquet is a highlight of the Guild’s calendar and attracts members from all over the world.
