The Banquet is the highlight of the Guild's year and we were privileged that The Rt Worshipful The Lord Mayor Locum Tenens, Alderman Sir David Wootton, Alderman and Sheriff Timothy Hailes and Sheriff Neil Redcliffe were able to join us as our Guests of Honour. Sir David is our Immediate Past Master and both Sheriffs sit on the Guild's Court so it was very much the "home team". Over 400 Guild members and guests from all over the world enjoyed an evening of ceremony, pageantry, colour and music (which culminated in the Post Horn Galop and a rousing rendition of Land of Hope and Glory with everyone singing along).
