The Master arranged a private tour of the British Library; 45 Guild members and their guests were fascinated by the history of the library and listened intently as our guides explained the stories behind the Magna Carta, the Gutenberg Bible ...and the Beatles collection! We all agreed that we would like to return for a longer visit as there is so much to see in the Treasures Room. Most of us then went on to Carluccio's for an informal supper where the food was good and the conversation lively. Photos, courtesy of Peter Holland Photography, can be seen here

The Master is going to run the event again on 1st October, so please do apply if you are interested.
