The Master held his first black tie dinner at Barber-Surgeons' Hall where over 100 members and their guests enjoyed a sparkling reception followed by dinner in the Great Hall, overlooked by Holbein's depiction of "Henry VIII & The Barber-Surgeons". Many new members, who had just attended their joining and welcoming ceremony continued their celebrations by coming along. After dinner, toasts and the Loving Cup ceremony the Master gave a very amusing speech and introduced his guest speaker, HHJ Nicholas Cooke QC. Photos of the event can be found here

In addition, our Annual Programme is the City’s most extensive. It features events with privileged access for Members and their guests, ranging from opportunities to dine in London’s finest Livery Halls, to less formal activities. Our Annual Banquet is a highlight of the Guild’s calendar and attracts members from all over the world.
