Message from our Renter Warden, Sheriff Neil Redcliffe

In just 8 days time, Emma and I are ‘pushing the bikes out’, donning Lycra and cycling 178 miles from London to Paris, from 7 to 9 September.   Along with fellow Livery pedlars we will be raising much needed funds for the Sheriff and Recorders Fund.

This wonderful charity was created over 200 years ago and helps ex-prisoners get a new start in life and reduce re-offending. It gives large grants to prison-based charity schemes to help train ex-offenders so they can find paid and purposeful employment on release.  It also provides small grants to prisoners’ children and partners who suffer hardship http://www.srfund.org.uk/index.html

Please help us support this really important charity by donating through JustGiving which is simple, fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.  Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.  So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.  Just click on the link below: make sure you do gift aid too please!

For the last four months we have been busily riding around Regents Park, Richmond Park (bad hill there!), the Essex countryside and Provence to get ourselves in shape for this challenge.  Let’s hope the sun shines and there is no wind, just happy pedalling for three days.

Thank you for your support which is really appreciated.

Very best wishes

Neil & Emma xx
