The ever popular City Walk; this year's theme was "The Modern City ". We are immensely grateful to Peter Tompkins for leading our annual walks; his knowledge and enthusiasm is boundless. The Guild members donated a generous £1050 to the Lord Mayor's Appeal, which the Master presented to Peter as a thank you. Afterwards we enjoyed a supper with plenty of wine to reward our efforts at the historic Williamson's Tavern. Let's hope the weather Gods remain kind as we do it all again tonight for another group of members and guests. Photos of the event can be found here

""The Guild was formed in 1908 for all fellow Freemen of the City of London – today we number almost 1,600 members from all backgrounds, and from a wide range of professions. In addition, our Annual Programme is the City’s most extensive. It features events with privileged access for Members and their guests, ranging from opportunities to dine in London’s finest Livery Halls, to less formal activities. Our Annual Banquet is a highlight of the Guild’s calendar and attracts members from all over the world.
