We were delighted that on the day of the virtual ceremony to admit Captain Sir Tom Moore as an Honorary Guild Member there was a film crew at his house. Some of the footage of the ceremony has made it into the final cut. The programme is called “The Life and Times of Captain Sir Tom” and was broadcast on ITV on Thursday 13th August 2020 at 9.15pm BST. This new documentary featured Captain Sir Tom Moore telling for the first time his life story and the key events in his 100 years - from his beginnings in Yorkshire to raising more than £30 million for the NHS. "We'll tell some secrets - not all of them." said Captain Sir Tom! I'm sure it will be available on catch up TV, but you can see the relevant section on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=777545796336515

In addition, our Annual Programme is the City’s most extensive. It features events with privileged access for Members and their guests, ranging from opportunities to dine in London’s finest Livery Halls, to less formal activities. Our Annual Banquet is a highlight of the Guild’s calendar and attracts members from all over the world.
