At a meeting of the Court of Assistants on Wednesday 27th June at Tallow Chandlers’ Hall, the Court were delighted to approve 12 new applications for membership and to welcome and present warrants to another 12 members who had recently joined the Guild.  Everyone then adjourned to the beautiful secluded courtyard, with its 50 years old olive tree, where the new members and their guests were able to meet the Court informally and enjoy glass of wine on a very warm summer evening.  Those attending the Reception & Dinner then departed to nearby Grocers’ Hall to continue their evening in the company of other Guild Members.  Photos of the admissions ceremony can be found here

In addition, our Annual Programme is the City’s most extensive. It features events with privileged access for Members and their guests, ranging from opportunities to dine in London’s finest Livery Halls, to less formal activities. Our Annual Banquet is a highlight of the Guild’s calendar and attracts members from all over the world.
