Another "first" for the Guild - our first virtual event! The Master was delighted to welcome Guild members who joined her and David for a virtual afternoon tea. We were privileged that the Lord Mayor, Alderman William Russell, joined us on Zoom to set out his vision for the City during and after Covid 19, and to take questions from the members.

It was a fun and lively event with cake, scones, tea...and fizz...aplenty. It was lovely to see familiar faces and for those less able to travel to join us. We had attendees from Spain, Switzerland and Malaysia!

We plan to have two virtual events a month for the foreseeable future; keep an eye on the website for details.

""The Guild was formed in 1908 for all fellow Freemen of the City of London – today we number almost 1,600 members from all backgrounds, and from a wide range of professions. In addition, our Annual Programme is the City’s most extensive. It features events with privileged access for Members and their guests, ranging from opportunities to dine in London’s finest Livery Halls, to less formal activities. Our Annual Banquet is a highlight of the Guild’s calendar and attracts members from all over the world.
