The Master welcomed 120 guests to the lovely Saddlers' Hall in Gutter Lane for a champagne reception and supper. He particularly welcomed many of the new Guild members who had received their warrants at their Joining Ceremony at Tallow Chandlers' Hall earlier in the day. It was lovely to see so many of them continuing on to supper where they had the opportunity of meeting Guild members, including Sheriff-elect and Court Assistant Chris Hayward CC. The Master's guest speaker was Lynne Williams OA, Principal of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. The Master was also delighted to welcome Laura Miller, Deputy Clerk to the Chamberlain's Court - many new members will know Laura from their Freedom Ceremony at Guildhall
