John Simpson CBE,  BBC’s World Affairs Editor, will be the guest speaker at this year’s Salters’ Annual Lecture to be held at Salters’ Hall on Thursday 1^st June from 6.15pm – 10.00pm. His talk will be about Ancient Institutions and Lessons from Current Affairs. 
 
John is considered by many as the most distinguished foreign correspondent of the age, is a veteran broadcaster, accomplished author, and has covered most of the major world news events from the 1960s to the present day.
 
Tickets can be purchased here for £70.00  (includes drinks and canapes in Salters’ garden at 6.15pm, followed by the lecture at 7.00pm and a two course dinner at 8.00pm).
