The Master welcomed over 100 members and guests to Christ Church Spitalfields to enjoy a sparkling reception while we listened to a short recital by Gerard Brooks, played on the Richard Bridge organ. The Hawksmoor masterpiece was the perfect setting for both the recital and the delicious dinner, which was rounded off by a very humourous and entertaining speech by Alderman Sir Andrew Parmley, Late Lord Mayor. The Master presented the Guild's beadle, John Hollingsworth, with a  certificate and a gift to mark his 30 years service with the Guild. A number of our new members attended the event, having received their warrants at the Joining and Welcoming Ceremony held at Tallow Chandlers' Hall earlier in the evening.  Photos of the event can be found here
