The Banquet is the highlight of the Guild's year and we were privileged that The Rt Worshipful The Lord Mayor Locum Tenens, Alderman Ian Luder CBE JP, Alderman and Sheriff Vincent Keaveny and Sheriff The Hon Liz Green were able to join us as our Guests of Honour. Alderman Luder and Mrs Lin Luder are life members of the Guild so it was especially nice to welcome them. The Master's Guest Speaker, Mr Lennox Cato, gave an engaging speech, delivered from the heart. Over 400 Guild members and guests from all over the world enjoyed an evening of ceremony, pageantry, colour and music (which culminated in the Post Horn Galop and a rousing rendition of Land of Hope and Glory with everyone singing along). Let's do it all again next year - Monday 9th December 2019! Photos of the event can be found here.

""The Guild was formed in 1908 for all fellow Freemen of the City of London – today we number almost 1,600 members from all backgrounds, and from a wide range of professions. In addition, our Annual Programme is the City’s most extensive. It features events with privileged access for Members and their guests, ranging from opportunities to dine in London’s finest Livery Halls, to less formal activities. Our Annual Banquet is a highlight of the Guild’s calendar and attracts members from all over the world.
