We are always delighted to receive comments from our members and their guests; here is a selection of what they have to say about us:
"Another triumph! A super evening with a plum tart to die for, great speech and a good atmosphere. Thank you for your superb organisation!" - Mrs A.M.J.
"I could not go to bed without thanking you most sincerely for guiding me towards Lin and Ian Luder to have my photograph taken with them. I owe them a HUGE debt because they encouraged me to pursue my love of the City of London and, as our guest speaker said, there is always somebody who has helped us along life's highway. Once again you and Judith have provided Guild members with an unforgettable evening. The Guild is getting stronger and stronger - all thanks to yourselves. I sat next to some amazing guests and members with such interesting stories to tell. The food, as usual, was superb, the waitresses/waiters were excellent, the orchestra their usual high quality of music, the amusing speeches, I could go on and on ........ etc. Thanks again to you and Judith for arranging all of this." - Miss V.H.
"Just a line to say it was a very enjoyable evening yesterday and thanks for the super seats, all our guests were greatly impressed. One has said he would like to join the Guild" - Mr P.B.
"Just a brief note to say how much H ,and I and our birthday guest, enjoyed the dinner last night. It was a really congenial evening in beautiful surroundings and in particular, the wines were really lovely, as one would expect" - Mr J.H.
"Well done! A, I and our guests enjoyed last night's banquet very much. All your hard work in preparation paid off." - Mr A.W.
"I just wanted to say a huge thank you for inviting us to join in the fun at the Guildhall dinner on Monday. It was a spectacular show of tradition - we felt like we were at a medieval banquet! It's so lovely when old traditions don't get tampered with. You fulfilled your duties exceptionally well and were a great host." - Ms S.H.
"That was an evening to remember for a very long time!
