Guild Events

Events by Year

Please select a year to view upcoming events:

We have an extensive programme of activities, giving members the opportunity to meet in interesting locations often not accessible to the public. Every year the programme includes a mix of regular activities and new ones that are selected by the Master of the year.

There is no closing date for events unless stated but you are advised to apply before the ticket allocation date. If an event is oversubscribed on the ticket allocation date a ballot will be held; those who are successful will be sent more details of the event and everyone else will be placed on a waiting list and notified accordingly. Applications received after the allocation date will be allocated places on a first-come-first-served basis. Places are often available right up to the day of the event so please do not hesitate to apply for tickets after the allocation date has passed.

We are offering an opportunity for those who attend events on their own to be seated at a "hosted" table. If you would like to sit with a table host then please enter a comment on the application form or contact the Clerk.

Details of all events are correct at the time of publication but are subject to change without notice

The following is the list of events for the current year. Please click on the View Details box to read more.

Please note that our photographer will be taking photos at the events, and the images will be used on the Guild’s website, social media and in the Freemen journal. If you or your guests do not wish to be photographed or have images published you should let the photographer and us know on each occasion.

Please type in upper and lower case as if you were writing a letter as we use the data you enter exactly as you type it for e.g. pour memoire letters, seating plans and place cards.
