Our trip will also include excursions by road and train into the mountains, and we will visit the Gingerbread Museum in Radovljica.  The Museum, housed within Lectar House, an inn with over five hundred years of history, celebrates the art of gingerbread making, a craft that has been practiced here since 1766.  A highlight will be a visit to the Postojna Cave, Queen of the Underground World, where we will take a ride on the underground train and enjoy a 3.7km long journey on the world's only double-track cave railway.  The Murano glass chandeliers hanging from the ceiling of Postojna Cave's Dance Hall make for a fairytale atmosphere – a truly memorable experience and not to be missed.
