Billingsgate Fish Market Visit

Thursday 8th October 2026

Start: 11.30am | Finish: 3.30pm approx.

Join the Master on a visit to Billingsgate Fish Market, the UK’s largest inland fish market, with around 100 stalls and 30 shops all spread over 13 acres.  We will receive a seafood demonstration and enjoy fish tasting, and of course a fis- based lunch.

Our host for the visit is CJ Jackson, the Chief Executive Officer of Billingsgate Seafood School.  This charity is based above the market, and CJ and her team deliver a large range of courses for children and schools, industry and the general public as part of a ‘food lovers’ programme.  CJ is also a prolific food writer who has spent many years encouraging people to become confident seafood cooks.
