Events by Year

Please select a year to view upcoming events:

We have an extensive programme of activities, giving members the opportunity to meet in interesting locations often not accessible to the public. Every year the programme includes a mix of regular activities and new ones that are selected by the Master of the year.

There is no closing date for events unless stated but you are advised to apply before the ticket allocation date. If an event is oversubscribed on the ticket allocation date a ballot will be held; those who are successful will be sent more details of the event and everyone else will be placed on a waiting list and notified accordingly. Applications received after the allocation date will be allocated places on a first-come-first-served basis. Places are often available right up to the day of the event so please do not hesitate to apply for tickets after the allocation date has passed.

We are currently offering a special opportunity for members to invite a prospective member to a Guild event and enjoy the event for half price. We will offer a warm welcome, and in return hope that the prospective member will join the Guild. There are up to 20 of these special tickets available on a first-come first-served basis and can be applied to any Guild event in 2019, apart from holidays. Please contact the Clerk to apply for these special tickets so that she can be sure to follow up with the prospective member, or enter a comment on the application form.

We are also offering an opportunity for those who attend events on their own to be seated at a "hosted" table. If you would like to sit with a table host then please enter a comment on the application form or contact the Clerk.
