Sheep Drive over the River Thames 2021

After a wonderfully successful Sheep Drive in 2019 the Master has secured spaces for seven teams of ten Guild members each, to again drive their sheep over the bridge. In 2021 it will be over Southwark Bridge as they have been able to close the Bridge to traffic. The Guild time slots are between 11am and 11.30am.

There will also be a Livery Fair. It is open to all Freemen of the City of London, or guests accompanied by a Freeman, so offers an opportunity for non-Liverymen to take part in this fun charity event. The donation amount is £65 per person and all proceeds go to the Lord Mayor's Appeal and the Woolmen's Charitable Trust.

The Guild has also booked exclusive use of The Banker Pub on the North Bank of the Thames between London Bridge and Southwark Bridge. See event 14b for booking lunch.

""The Guild was formed in 1908 for all fellow Freemen of the City of London – today we number almost 1,600 members from all backgrounds, and from a wide range of professions. In addition, our Annual Programme is the City’s most extensive. It features events with privileged access for Members and their guests, ranging from opportunities to dine in London’s finest Livery Halls, to less formal activities. Our Annual Banquet is a highlight of the Guild’s calendar and attracts members from all over the world.
