Allington Castle is privately-owned and occupied and not generally open to the public. The Master knows the owner personally who, as a new member of the Guild, has agreed that a private visit can occur to his residence.
We will arrive for a Pimm’s reception in the medieval Great Hall which will be followed by a 3-course lunch there. Afterwards there will be a brief talk by the owner on the history of the castle, prior to a guided walking tour of the castle itself and its grounds. After the tour we will return to the Great Hall for tea and scones prior to departure.
While there is parking at the Castle, we will provide coach transport from and to Maidstone East station. The train times will be confirmed in the allocation letter but at present the likely trains to take would be Victoria 10.25 arrive at Maidstone East at 11.28, return 16.28 or possibly 17.03

RNLI Demonstration and Supper at the Little Ship Club
