Start: 6.30 pm | Finish: 10.30 pm

This event has passed

The Guild is delighted that our Renter Warden, Sheriff Neil Redcliffe JP, has offered to host this rare and lovely event.  The evening will start with a sparkling reception, during which Sheriff Redcliffe will tell us tales of the history of British justice and the Old Bailey (Central Criminal Court of England and Wales). He will then conduct a guided tour of the Old Bailey, taking in both original and new Court rooms, the cells (don't get locked in!) and the magnificent neo-baroque Great Hall underneath the dome. After the tour the Sheriff will escort us to dinner in the Judges dining room where we will enjoy a three-course dinner with wine.

We expect this to be a very popular event so please only apply for one guest per member.

We invite all attendees to make a donation (suggested as no less than £10 per person) for onward transmission to the Sheriffs' and Recorder's Fund
