THIS EVENT HAS NOW BEEN ALLOCATED AND THERE IS A WAITING LIST

The Girdlers’, makers of Girdles (or belts) have had a Hall on the same ground since 1431.  The original Hall like many other buildings was destroyed by the Great Fire of 1666 and its replacement suffered a similar fate due to enemy action in 1940.  The current Hall was completed in 1961 and is modelled on the style of a country house and has a timeless elegance.

Join the Master for a sparkling reception in the courtyard garden if the weather is fine followed by a three-course dinner with wines.   Rather than a speaker, the Master has invited internationally known Italian tenor Yuri Sabatini to entertain us after dinner.

NB: It is a privilege for the Guild to be able to hold our Court and dinner at Girdlers’ who do not usually make their Hall available to other Companies, so don’t miss out on this one-off opportunity.
