We are delighted to invite your Livery Company to join us for a dazzling evening of glitz and glamour at The Sheriffs’ Great Gatsby Ball taking place at Guildhall on Friday 19 September. Please find attached an invitation with full details and we would be grateful if you could kindly share this with your Master and members of your Company who may wish to support.
We have drawn our inspiration from the 100th anniversary of the iconic Great Gatsby novel. The event includes a sparkling fizz and cocktail reception, a sumptuous three-course dinner with wine, a fundraising auction and plenty of roaring 1920s entertainment. Of course, no Gatsby-inspired night would be complete without a DJ spinning the best tunes for dancing until midnight! Of course, we are also looking for exciting auction prizes as part of the fundraising effort such as holiday homes, VIP experiences or sporting tickets so if you have something amazing to donate, we'd be delighted to include it in our auction! We know some Members of craft-related livery companies like to donate a unique item that showcases the artistry of their craft. The Ball will be raising funds for two fantastic charities in the Square Mile - The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and The Sheriffs’ and Recorder’s Fund. Tables of 10 are available to purchase at £2,600 or individual tickets at £275 online at thelordmayorsappeal.org/sheriffsball2025. For any event or auction queries please contact events@thelordamayorsappeal.org. We hope that you, your Master and members of your Company will support what promises to be a fantastic evening. |
