This very special evening will begin with a sparkling reception followed by a one-hour Baroque classical concert in the Great Hall, with music performed by the Echéa String Quartet who are City Music Foundation Artists and recent winners of the 2021 Royal Over-Seas League String Ensemble Competition.
The programme will be varied, and each piece will be presented by the Echéa. You can read more about the Echéa String Quartet here https://echeaquartet.com/about.
The concert will be followed by a brief presentation on the Barts Heritage Project, and a three-course dinner with wine. The Great Hall is in the Grade 1- listed North Wing which is superbly ornate throughout and dates from the 17th century. The Hall is approached via the “Hogarth staircase” and its walls hold many fine masterpieces.
Barts Hospital is the oldest working (and teaching) hospital in the UK, founded in 1123. It is therefore coming up to its 900th anniversary.

RNLI Demonstration and Supper at the Little Ship Club
