Visit this re-creation of Wren’s St Paul’s working ‘office’ and experience the intensity of the rebuilding of London and the new St Paul’s cathedral after the 1666 fire. The artist / cartographer Adam Dant’s specially commissioned map will be displayed alongside illustrations from Architect George Saumerez-Smith and members of the WCCA, a scale model of St Paul’s Dome from students at Kingston University, and stone models from master mason Pierre Bidaud.
Step into the extraordinary world of exquisite craftsmanship and historical significance at this new exhibition by the Worshipful Company of Gold and Silver Wyre Drawers. Exhibition highlights include a piece of the only surviving dress worn by Queen Elizabeth I, Charles Dickens’ court suit, an RSC robe worn by David Tennant as Richard II, and the Coronation glove of Queen Elizabeth II.

Over fizz and canapes at the Grand Opening, or a festive lunch or champagne afternoon tea the following day, you can browse over 100 stalls selling delicious treats, festive decorations, stylish clothes, and beautiful homeware. More details will be on the website nearer the time. https://www.redcross.org.uk
As in previous years, the Guild will be running second hand book stall. Renter Warden, Adrian Waddingham is leading on this and he needs Guild members assistance on two counts:
1. Can you offer your time to help set up the stall on Sunday 26th November? Or help to sell the books for a couple of hours or so on the Monday and Tuesday?
2. Do you have any books to donate? Take a look at your shelves and ask if you really will reread those tomes. If you think you won’t, please start making piles for the Guild stall to support the phenomenal work that the Red Cross delivers year after year, often in war torn environments.
Please contact Adrian Waddingham CBE at firstname.lastname@example.org if you can offer either your time or books.
