Grocers' Hall Reception and Black Tie Dinner

The champagne reception started with Deputy Pauline Halliday and her husband Peter greeting everyone in the Piper Room. Dinner was then served in the elegant Livery Hall by the in-house caterers. Later five students from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama entertained us with a medley of nostalgic songs of yesteryear.

After the Loving Cup Ceremony, Deputy Pauline Halliday introduced her guest speaker Dr Jerry White, who spoke eloquently about commercial life in the City of London at the time of the foundation of the Guild.
