Membership
Eligibility
All Freemen of the City of London are eligible to apply for membership of the Guild (please note that Freedom of the City is granted only by the City of London).
To join the Guild, applicants:
- Must already be Freemen of the City of London
- Must be sponsored by two present members of the Guild. As not everyone may have two such acquaintances, the Clerk can provide assistance with this.
Long standing Members of the Society of Young Freemen are exempt from the joining fee.
